From our Yelp reviews:

Our Bikes

We carry new bikes from Raleigh, Pashley, and now Brompton folding bikes.
We also have an ever-changing fleet of used bikes. Stop by or call to find out what we have.

Our main focus is on practical, useful, everyday bikes for city life. Most of the bikes we sell are made of steel. We believe it's the best material for most bikes for most people. Contrary to popular opinion, it's not particularly heavy (unless you make it that way), and it produces what we think are the most beautiful, most effective, and most comfortable bikes.

  • Raleigh Bicycles. Our main line of bikes.

Founded 1887, they are the oldest continuously operating bicycle manufacturer, still going strong after nearly 125 years. English heritage and American design. We like them for a bunch of reasons:

    • They keep expanding their line of steel bikes, while many companies move to more and more carbon and aluminum.
    • Their attention to detail is really great.
    • They make some beautiful bikes.
    • Best of all, they're very reasonably priced. There's a Raleigh bike to fit nearly any budget.

We keep a selection of their bikes in stock, including the Roadsters, Cadent, Revenio, Grand Prix and Clubman. If you're looking for a Raleigh bike we don't usually stock, we can get it for you--there's no extra charge for special orders.

  • Pashley Cycles. Beautiful and practical, and available in a variety of classic styles. Steel bikes, made in England, made to last.

Autumn brings great riding weather, and great scenery.

However, it also brings more free time around the shop. Our wait for repairs is shorter than it's been in months. This is a good time to get your bike checked out and prepped for winter. Some suggestions:

  • Wider tires make it easy to keep riding through all kinds of weather.
  • Fenders help keep you dry and warm.
  • New cables and housing, brake pads, and thorough lubrication will keep you rolling smooth until spring.
